A Ghanaian man, Alhaji Ali Kamal, has shared a message he received from a woman who complained about emotional distance in her marriage. The woman reached out after Kamal posted a video of himself dancing with his first wife.
In her message, she revealed that she has been married for 11 years but has never danced with her husband or had deep conversations with him, adding that she can barely get close to him unless he initiates intimacy.
Responding publicly, Kamal cautioned couples against comparing their marriages to what they see on social media, noting that online content often reflects curated moments rather than reality. He stressed that no marriage is perfect, admitted he also has flaws, and urged both men and women to communicate better, show understanding, and avoid letting social media influence how they run their homes.
