Arsenal have reportedly expressed interest in signing Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, with the Gunners said to have contacted the player’s representatives over a potential transfer.
According to OneFootball, Chelsea are prepared to consider offers for the Portugal international, although the club is expected to demand a substantial fee for his services.
Neto’s asking price is reportedly around £70 million.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen his attacking options by adding a left winger ahead of the new season.
The North London club had previously explored the possibility of signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid. However, those efforts have ended after the Brazilian forward opted to commit his future to the Spanish giants by signing a long-term contract.
With the pursuit of Vinicius now off the table, Arsenal could turn their attention to Neto as they continue their search for an attacking reinforcement.
