The Beef star, 43, and the former Saturday Night Live cast member, 47, split more than two years after publicly confirming their romance in April 2023. According to a source speaking to PEOPLE, the couple struggled to balance their demanding schedules and family responsibilities. “It was too difficult to make the relationship work with Ali’s upcoming stand-up tour and Bill’s various film and TV projects this year,” the insider explained.
Despite parting ways romantically, the source notes that the split is amicable. “They’re focusing on their work and kids, while continuing to support and root for each other. They are very much friends and still in touch.” The news follows earlier speculation about their relationship after Wong skipped the red carpet with Hader and did not mention him in her acceptance speech at the 2025 Golden Globes in January.
