The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has expressed deep grief over the death of his political ally, Dan Orbih, saying the loss may be difficult for him to overcome.
Wike spoke on Wednesday in Abuja during his monthly media interaction with selected journalists.
Orbih, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Vice Chairman for the South-South, died on Monday, August 31.
Reacting to the development, Wike described the late politician as a dependable ally who remained resolute even in the face of political pressure.
According to the minister, “Dan Orbih was a trusted ally. He was a firm man even when under pressure.”
“His death is a big shock to me. I’m not sure if I can recover from the death,” he added.
Wike’s remarks came as tributes continued to pour in following the death of the veteran PDP politician.
