Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to arrive in Fés, Morocco, on Thursday, December 18, ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced.
The team, along with officials, will fly from Cairo to Fés on a chartered plane.
Coach Eric Chelle’s squad began their preparations in Cairo on Sunday for the tournament. Tonight, the Super Eagles will face Egypt’s Pharaohs in a pre-AFCON friendly at Cairo International Stadium.
The three-time African champions have been drawn in Group C alongside Tanzania’s Taifa Stars, Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles, and Uganda’s Cranes.
All of Nigeria’s group stage matches will take place at the Complexe Sportif de Fés. The Super Eagles will kick off their campaign against Tanzania, face 2004 AFCON hosts and champions Tunisia on Saturday, December 27, and conclude the group stage against Uganda on Tuesday, December 30.
