Armed bandits have reportedly amputated the hand of a farmer in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The victim, identified as Abdulkarim, was said to have been attacked while tending to his farm.
Security analyst Bakatsine confirmed the incident on Monday, March 2, 2026.
“On Friday evening, armed bandits amputated the hand of a farmer, Abdulkarim, and left him seriously injured in Kubau LGA of Kaduna State,” he stated.
According to reports, the assailants encountered the farmer on his dry-season farm and carried out the attack after he allegedly challenged them.
The incident has once again raised concerns over the persistent insecurity affecting farmers in the region, with many questioning how long they will continue to suffer violence while working on their own land.
