Manchester United legend David Beckham has lauded interim manager Michael Carrick for bringing stability and rekindling a winning mentality at the club.
Carrick, who replaced Ruben Amorim in January 2026, has overseen a remarkable turnaround, guiding United from seventh to third place in the Premier League table.
In an interview, Beckham noted that the current management has introduced a sense of calm and consistency that supporters have long missed.
“Yeah, I must admit, the last few months have been a lot more comfortable than the last 10 years, to be honest,” Beckham said.
“It’s been tough over that time. But I think Michael’s got experience. I think he’s got a calmness about him that he’s brought into the club. He knows the club.
“He knows the players. He knows the way Man United play and the way Man United should play.”
