Popular Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has reportedly reconciled with his father, daughter, and baby mama after weeks of public backlash over alleged abandonment.
The reconciliation follows months of criticism that began after Asake was accused on social media of neglecting his family following his rise to fame. Earlier in 2025, his baby mama, Adijat, alleged that the singer abandoned her and their daughter despite her support during his early career struggles.
The controversy deepened in March 2025 when Asake’s father, Fatai Odunsi, a stroke survivor, also publicly accused the artiste of neglect, sparking widespread outrage among fans and celebrities.
In response to the backlash, Asake was said to have reached out to his father, promising to cover his medical expenses and provide him with a new home. A photo of the singer with his father that surfaced online on Friday has since signalled a renewed relationship between them.
Reports also indicate that Asake has reunited with his daughter and her mother, bringing an apparent end to the family dispute that had played out publicly.
