Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Woli Arole has responded to recurring questions about why he seldom posts pictures or videos of his family on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the entertainer explained that his marriage was never intended to be a public spectacle or a tool for online validation. According to the skit creator, companionship not social media attention was the foundation of his decision to get married.
“I didn’t get married for posting. I got married for companionship,” Arole stated.
He further urged followers to remember that personal life does not have to be shared online at all times, emphasizing that meaningful living exists beyond social media platforms.
“Not everything about your life should be made public. Life didn’t start with social media, and it won’t end there,” he added.
