Nigerian skit maker and singer Nasiru Lawal, widely known as Nasboi, has shared his candid thoughts on fame, success, and his future in the entertainment world.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the comedian stated that he places a higher value on money than on popularity, adding that the pressures that come with fame are something he never wishes to go through again not even in another lifetime.
In his words, he wrote:
“I will choose having money over being famous… I no fit try this kind thing for my next life again. Once my money complete 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again… No skit, no music, no acting. Make brain rest.”
According to him, ₦5 billion is the target he needs before stepping away from the entertainment world.
After years of juggling multiple creative fields, all he now seeks is rest, peace of mind, and financial stability.
His revelation has sparked reactions online, with many fans agreeing that fame can be overwhelming, while others encouraged him to keep pushing until he achieves his goal.
