A lawyer has stirred reactions on social media after sharing the story of a woman, already in the process of filing for divorce, who requested to spend Christmas with her soon-to-be ex-husband.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the lawyer revealed that the woman, who had already paid for a consultation to begin divorce proceedings, asked if it would be acceptable for her to celebrate the holidays with her husband.
The post read: “After paying the consultation fee to initiate divorce proceedings, you’re asking me if it’s okay to spend this Christmas with your husband? Should I tie your legs???”
