Nwoko offers 1,500 Delta North students free JAMB registration

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, has announced a free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration program for 1,500 students from the district, following the nationwide commencement of the 2026 UTME exercise.

The lawmaker disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday via his official X page, saying the initiative was driven by his belief that “education is the foundation upon which lasting development is built” and that “no qualified student should be denied access to higher education due to financial constraints.”

Nwoko said the free registration drive would benefit students across “Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Ika North East, Ika South, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Oshimili North, Oshimili South and Ukwuani local government areas of Delta State.”

“In furtherance of my commitment to human capital development, I am pleased to announce the commencement of a free JAMB UTME registration drive for 1,500 students from the Delta North Senatorial District for the 2026 academic year,” he said. Outlining the eligibility criteria and application process, the senator said, “Eligible applicants must be 16 years or older by 30th September 2026 and must generate their JAMB profile code using their National Identification Number. Required details include the applicant’s full name, JAMB profile code and council ward for proper documentation and verification.”

He added, “The deadline for this registration is Sunday, 15th February 2026,” noting that “interested applicants are to complete their registration via the portal: https://tinyurl.com/ysp9p4sd ”
