Paris Saint-Germain have been ordered by a French court to pay former striker Kylian Mbappé 60 million euros in unpaid salaries and bonuses, ending the long-running dispute between the player and the club.
The ruling follows Mbappé’s claim that PSG failed to pay several months of his wages before he left the club. While the Real Madrid forward had initially sought more than 260 million euros, the court ruled that PSG owed him three months’ salary, an ethics bonus, and a signing bonus under his contract.
His lawyer, Frederique Cassereau, says the ruling confirms what was expected when salaries went unpaid. The court also dismisses PSG’s claim that Mbappe forfeited the payments, while rejecting some of Mbappe’s other demands, including claims of harassment and contract breach.
