Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim praised his side’s resilience after they responded to a frustrating equalizer with a dominant second-half display in a 4–1 Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The victory at Molineux extends United’s unbeaten away run in the league to five games and moves them up to sixth place, while Wolves remain bottom of the table following their eighth straight defeat.
United began strongly and deservedly went ahead in the 25th minute. Casemiro won possession in midfield and released Matheus Cunha, who set up Bruno Fernandes for a simple finish. The visitors pushed for a second goal but were shocked just before halftime when Jean-Ricner Bellegarde smashed in a brilliant effort from the edge of the area Wolves’ first goal since October.
Amorim emphasized the importance of a strong response, and his players delivered. “That was clear. The players felt that,” he said after the game. “No matter the score, we have to keep pushing forward, and we did that in the second half. I really enjoyed the way we played after the break.”
