Nigerian superstar Wizkid has fired new shots at his long-time rival, Davido, after being named Nigeria’s most-streamed artiste on Spotify for 2025.
Following the announcement, Wizkid posted a flurry of cryptic yet pointed messages on X, which many fans interpreted as direct jabs at Davido and his team.
In one of the posts, he wrote:
“Dem say album go swallow album, dem dey ground dey smell now!” with laughing emojis — a line widely viewed as mocking Davido’s earlier boast about dominating the charts.
Wizkid followed up with another fiery post:
“Pvssyboys got enough dead ppl in their crew to cry about! Add more tears.”
He didn’t stop there. In yet another jab, he tweeted:
“I think say all of una don die finish! Una still remain?
Fans of both artistes have since flooded social media with hot takes, with many reigniting debates over who truly dominates the Afrobeats space.
