As preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general election, socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has said unseating President Bola Tinubu would be a difficult task.
In a post on his Instagram page, Chiefpriest shared a video showing Igbo businessmen donating buses to the South-East chapter of Tinubu’s re-election support group, popularly known as City Boys. He said he and others are committed to securing Tinubu’s second term so the region can benefit from more dividends of democracy.
Chiefpriest added that removing Tinubu from office is “impossible,” questioning who could successfully challenge him in 2027. He also predicted internal disputes within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including among figures such as Peter Obi, over who would emerge as the party’s presidential candidate.
His post reads
