Sophia Momodu, mother of Davido’s first child, has again cautioned fans against associating her with the Afrobeats star, insisting that she has moved on and wants her boundaries respected.
Speaking during a recent live session, Sophia recalled an encounter with a content creator who excitedly called her “Mama Imade, OBO’s wife” after spotting her in public. She said the remark made her uncomfortable, adding that she quickly dismissed it as a case of mistaken identity.
Emphasising her point, Sophia urged the public to stop attaching labels that no longer apply, noting that people deserve the freedom to move forward in peace. Her remarks have since stirred online discussions around respect, personal boundaries, and how women are often defined by past relationships.
