Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has stated that he is willing to resolve his dispute with fellow artiste Blaqbonez — but only if he receives a personal apology.
In a recent interview with Pulse, the “Wotowoto” hitmaker said he is not opposed to making peace.
He explained that his Christian faith teaches forgiveness, but emphasized that true forgiveness must come from a “contrite heart.”
“My rift with Blaqbonez is personal. But I won’t rule out reconciliation because there is nothing God cannot forgive. However, forgiveness requires a contrite heart,” he said.
Odumodublvck accused Blaqbonez of attempting to frame their disagreement as mere rap rivalry by releasing diss tracks, insisting that the conflict extends beyond music.
He also alleged that instead of approaching him directly, Blaqbonez has been sending respected industry figures to mediate on his behalf.
“You’re sending prominent artists to plead with me, but because you want to protect your public image, you won’t apologise privately since you think I might expose you,” he said.
“Real men don’t act that way. I would never post someone’s apology online. If you can’t humble yourself, you’ll remain stuck.”
The reported fallout between the two rappers began last year and has continued to generate conversation among fans.
